Nissan: Case Study
The requirements
Nissan GB Motors required a web-based solution for handling
their recruitment and human resource management across the full
range of their UK dealerships, using pay-per-click internet
marketing to find candidates. The requirements included:
- A website with details of all current dealership vacancies
- A recruitment database solution for managing relationships
between candidates, vacancies and dealerships
- Web Presentation of Human Resource policy and procedure
documents for internal use.
The solution
After consultation with Nissan's recruitment partners and the
Nissan corporate identity team a fully integrated solution was
developed. Key aspects of the solution are:
- A 'Nissan Dealer Recruitment' micro-site including job
vacancies.
- Integration between the website and private database allowing
candidates to apply for a dealership vacancies online
- A web-based 'HR Toolkit' comprising of a inter-linked HTML
internal policy documents. The toolkit was made available through
secure extranet or on CD.

Understandably Nissan has strict corporate
identity standards, so all elements of this project were
designed to be fully in line with their design and layout
guidelines.
